2. Tahiti

Also known as the “Garden of Eden”, Huahine consists of two islands that are connected by a bridge. It is surrounded by a breathtaking lagoon and emerald bays hiding the small villages. If you want to capture the most of French Polynesia without any interruption from the crowds, then you must visit Huahine. There are plenty of things to do here, including driving around the town of Huahine, chilling on a beach in Avea Bay or Hana Iti Beach, eating out with the locals, and a lot more.

8. Nuku Hiva

Experience the real-world Jurassic Park! Yes, that’s what you are going to feel as you step into the Nuku Hiva. If you look at the pictures of this place on Instagram, you can think of it as a scene from the Jurassic Park movie. Nuku Hiva is the largest of the beautiful Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. The island was formed as a result of two volcanoes. That’s the reason why most of the part of Nuku Hiva is rugged. Take a swim at the beautiful Anaho Bay, walk through the ancient archaeological sites, hike to the Vaipo Waterfall, and see the Grand Canyon (not the one you see in the USA), and a lot more, all in Nuku Hiva.
